These are pictures of burning cars. The thing about a car fire is there is not much you can do about it except get away and let it burn. They often happen in isolated places, like on the edge of a freeway, where there is nothing else around, just a burning car. The obstacle I had to overcome with the image of a burning car is that they are kind of exciting because they are so colorful - orange flames, blue sky, green grass, black smoke, and sometimes the cars themselves are very exciting colors too. As you see, I have overcome that by painting them in black and white. I know that people really like to see things like this as large as possible, so I overcame that by painting them a reasonably small size - 8 inches by 12 inches. They are painted on masonite, using black and white latex house paint. By moving the cursor over an image, you get a larger image. You might want to see them even larger, but you can't. This is what you get.
